The small, but stylish Sporthotel Hamburg is located in Jenfeld – a district in the Hamburg borough of Wandsbek. It is also right on the premises of the Hamburg Football Association, the training ground for countless football talent.
Starting February 1, 2020, JUFA Hotels took over the existing hotel from the former operator, offering the usual JUFA service standard in an active setting and atmosphere at a 3*** rating. The hotel offers ideal conditions for business trips, seminars, city trips, and football training camps.
Hamburg’s HafenCity, with its Elbphilharmonie concert hall, the new landmark of the Hanseatic city and Miniatur Wunderland, is certainly one of the highlights for visitors interested in culture. The Hamburg Cruise Center and St. Pauli Landungsbrücken are also worth a trip for those looking to experience something truly exciting. Two further local highlights are also must-sees: the Hagenbeck Zoo and Hamburg Dom.
For nature lovers, Öjendorfer Park, with almost 400 hectares Hamburg’s third largest park, is the perfect place to relax amidst the city hustle and bustle.

Wildlife Park Schwarze Berge
Pot-bellied pigs are the welcoming committee of the Wildlife Park Schwarze Berge (Black Mountains) and, just like the goats, they like to be fed and stroked. In the 50 hectare park, about a hundred species of animals such as alpacas, wolves, lynxes and bears can be discovered. Furthermore, a game park railway and daily show feeding await you. Be there when the dwarf otters Lotte and Sharki appear for feeding or the bald eagle majestically circles over the pond in the open-air enclosure! Those who climb the 45-metre-high Elbe observation tower are rewarded with a breathtaking view as far as Hamburg. The game park is open daily all year round!

The fun only increases as the night wears on! The Hamburg red-light district consists of the Reeperbahn, the Große Freiheit, the Hamburger Berg and the Hans-Albers-Platz. In the 1960s, the Beatles gave their first performances in the alleyways of the Reeperbahn, and for good reason: St. Pauli is one of the world’s most famous entertainment districts.
Hamburg Town Hall (Rathaus)
The Hamburg Town Hall was built between 1886 and 1897. Its impressive architecture is an imposing feature in the centre of the city. This splendid sandstone building is the seat of the state senate and parliament. The town hall is open to visitors every day and there are guided tours every half an hour. Visitors can even listen to a tour in the local “Plattdeutsch” dialect!
