From Maishofen: Take the L111 and head towards Saalbach. Turn right after the police station and continue along the road to Unterdorf for 50 metres. The JUFA hotel is on the right

Montelino’s adventure trail
On the adventure trail in Saalbach Hinterglemm, families learn the story of the Montelino clown whose friends and toys the children are invited to hunt for. The adventure starts with a cable car ride to the top of the Kohlmais mountain. To help with the hunt, children are given a pass at the base station together with their cable car ticket. With a total walking time of about 90 minutes over a distance of 3 km or so, the mountain adventure on the Kohlmais is to the perfect way to have fun with the kids while spending from half a day to a day on the mountain. Montelino’s adventure trail is accessible for prams and buggies. Visiting the adventure trail is free of charge.
Fishing and archery
Concentration and endurance is what you need while fishing and practising archery at the Bärenbach fishing pond in Saalbach, which offers fishing enjoyment for patient visitors of all ages. Any fish you catch in the Bärenbach pond is cooked for you immediately in the restaurant or prepared for you to take away. If you haven’t got the time or patience for fishing, you can aim for the bullseye on the archery targets at the Bärenbach pond.
Die-hard mountain bikers will find two pump tracks for practice and warm-up. The Wieserauberg pump track is located directly behind the Hinterglemm football pitch. It consists of a circuit with waves, steep turns, doubles and tabletops as well as a small dirt line with two kickers. For all mountain bikers who want to improve their riding technique and exercise their upper arms, the pump track near the Spielberghaus on the Kohlmais mountain is the ideal place. Mountain biking enthusiasts are invited to ride an extra circuit or two on the fun pump track set up by professionals behind the Spielberghaus.
