The JUFA Hotel St. Michael im Lungau*** in the Salzburger Land region is located in the resort of St. Michael im Lungau at over 1.000 meters above sea level and is swiftly accessible via the A10 Tauern motorway. The wind-protected location mostly provides pleasant weather and many sunny days.
The JUFA Hotel St. Michael im Lungau*** is located in the Salzburg holiday region amid large green area and offers its guests modern, brightly decorated rooms. Look forward to the in-house sauna and relaxation area after an extensive excursion. And because children never get tired during a family holiday, they can really let off steam on a large playground, with various climbing elements! A beach-volleyball and a basketball court, as well as a football field and – our highlight – a trampoline, help to shed excess energy with lots of fun. A winter ice-skating rink will thrill any ice-dancer – whether young or old!
Select your ski resort! Großeck-Speiereck, Fanningberg, Aineck, Katschberg and Obertauern, guarantee snow-filled slopes and best infrastructures, also for families. You can also practise cross-country skiing, tobogganing and ice-skating.
In the summer, hike across lush alpine pastures, practise rock climbing, swim in clear alpine lakes or enjoy nature cycling along the banks of the river Mur and taste the delicacies of regional cuisine – good food keeps the body and soul together and ensures a perfect holiday.

The JUFA Hotel St. Michael im Lungau*** is located in St. Michael in Lungau, a few steps from the town centre. The stop for the ski bus is located right next to the hotel. It is a perfect base from which to embark on infinite adventures and can be reached easily by car. Guests can make use of the free parking spaces for cars and buses.

Arriving by car
Travelling from the north / south: From the A10 Tauern motorway to the St. Michael im Lungau exit – keep left after the toll booths – continue straight on – drive left up the hill straight after the sign into St. Michael – follow the signs.
Travelling from the east: From the B317 in Scheifling turn onto the B96 towards Murau/A10 Tauern motorway – continue on towards Tamsweg – continue straight on – when reaching Mauterndorf continue in the direction of the A10 Tauern motorway – continue straight on towards A10 Tauern motorway/St. Michael – turn left into the town – shortly before you reach the end of the town (town sign) at the sharp right hand bend – follow the signs.
Travelling from the south (no tunnel toll): Travelling on the A10 Tauern motorway until the Rennweg exit – take the B 99 and continue via Katschberg – turn left into St. Michael – shortly before you reach the end of the town at the sharp right hand bend – follow the signs. Please note: during the winter you are required to use snow chains due to the steep incline!
Travelling from the north (no tunnel toll): Travelling on the A10 Tauern motorway until the Radtstadt exit – travel on the B 99 to Radstadt – continue on the B 99 towards Obertauern/Radtstädter Tauern (mountain pass) – when reaching Mauterndorf continue in the direction of the A10/Tauern motorway – turn left into the town – shortly before you reach the end of the town at the sharp right hand bend – follow the signs. Please note: The Radstädt Tauern pass is partially closed during the winter!
