Location

The JUFA Hotel Bad Aussee is only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Bad Aussee. It is a perfect base from which to depart on infinite adventures and can be reached easily by car. Guests can make use of the free parking spaces for cars and buses.

Arriving by car

Travelling from Graz: Exit Liezen – B146-Ennstal main road – in Trautenfels turn right – B145 direction Salzkammergut – do not enter the town Bad Aussee but rather remain on the B145 – continue until the ÖAMTC – then turn right – the road to the JUFA Hotel is signposted.

Coming from Salzburg: B158 via Bad Ischl – at the entrance of town Bad Aussee (ring road) at the ÖMTC – base camp – after 80 m right – cul-de-sac to the JUFA Hotel.

Sisi Loser Panoramic Climbing Route

This climbing route lives up to what it promises on a hiking holiday: Enthusiasm. A short alpine route takes you to the mountain and the exciting steep walls of the Loser. It is modernly built and offers an unforgettable experience at around 1800 meters. The entire tour takes about 3 1/2 hours and is worth every minute.

The Loser Climbing Route “Sophie

With the new beginner climbing route “Sophie” on the Diml face on the Loser plateau, the Loser mountain lifts extended the offer of the experience on the Loser to the middle of June 2016. This fixed rope route is an attractive offer for adult beginners as well as for climbing groups and is suitable for all age groups. Dachstein Glacier

The Dachstein Glacier World never fails to thrill. In the mammoth cave you get special insight into evolutionary history and incredible views of the Krippstein. The panoramic cable car will take you through the Dachstein Glacier, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Keep your feet on the ground: On each one of the 5 fingers you will experience a fantastic view. Ski Resort Loser-Sandling 33 kilometres of slopes await winter sports fans at the ski resort of Loser Bergbahnen Altaussee. Slopes are offered here for all difficulty levels, subdivided into easy and medium to difficult. On the JUFA ski trail you can get from the Salzberg to the Skiberg. A small tip for SpeedFreaks: The Loser Alm Schuss is the steepest slope in the Salzkammergut.
