Hiking in the Wonderful Alm Valley
2 nights accommodation on a half-board basis including entrance to wildlife park
The beautiful Almtal in Upper Austria is nestled in the heart of the Austrian mountains. You can truly escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy yourself surrounded by so much wild and untamed natural beauty.
You can stroll along Lake Almsee in the Salzkammergut region and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views. At the Cumberland Wildpark you can discover animal species from former times and from today. You can also hike or travel to the Hochberghaus (mountain lodge) on Mount Kasberg. From here you can see over the whole of the Almtal Valley whilst you enjoy a delicious “Pfandlgericht”, a dish specially prepared in a pan.
The Hochberghaus is located 1,200 metres above sea level and is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable day of hiking for our more sporty guests. Mount Kasberg is the ideal terrain for hikers and more advanced mountaineers.
