The family friendly JUFA Veitsch, is located near the gates of Vienna in an idyllic landscape.

The Region of Upper Styria also contains the natural springs which supply water to Vienna and Graz.

This unspoiled natural environment is an ideal place to recharge your batteries.

The highlight of the guesthouse is the family indoor pool with sports pool. Entrance is free for guests.

The children’s pool (water temperature 34°C) and the giant slide (51 m, 10 % slope) are particularly popular amongst our younger guests.

The extensive sauna area has four cabins (with special raponsing systems!), a solarium and a relaxing massage service.

The JUFA Veitsch offers plenty of activity facilities including a fun park with a BMX track and skate court, beach volleyball and tennis courts and football pitches.

As well as the indoor swimming pool, there is also a climbing wall inside. Climbing courses with a professional trainer may be booked prior to arrival (2 hours for adults € 80,-, children € 60,-). Up to 5 persons may take part.

The region offers plenty of activities for those in search of an active holiday, including the nearby Veitsch Skiing and Hiking Resort and the mountain bike routes in the mining area.

The basilica and statue of Mary in Mariazell are amongst the most significant sanctuaries in Europe and have attracted pilgrims since time immemorial.

A network of pilgrimage routes extends for a length of approximately 1,100 kilometres across the various sites and brings pilgrims from Vienna, Lower Austria, Carinthia, Burgenland and Upper Austria to Mariazell.

Many JUFA guesthouses are located along this route. In the direct vicinity of Mariazell, there are guesthouses in St. Sebastian, Sigmundsberg and Veitsch.
