The state-of-the-art JUFA Leibnitz Sportcampus is located in the wine growing town of Leibnitz in southern Styria and fulfils every sporting desire.

The Styrian Tennis Academy offers several courts with a range of different playing surfaces as well as a health spa area.

Tennis fans will enjoy playing on the four indoor granular carpet courts and the five outdoor clay courts as well as visiting the generously proportioned café area.

The centre’s other extensive sporting facilities cater to all the requirements of track and field, ball games, gymnasts and martial arts athletes.

The centre’s location next to a large outdoor pool area is an added bonus. The pleasant temperatures experienced in southern Styria also mean that the season is long.

The integrated judo hall measures 16 x 16 metres and is unique in Austria!
Judo fans will at last find that they have enough space to give full rein to their sport.

Anyone who has not yet achieved a black belt may wish to put themselves into the experienced hands of the SU Noricum Leibnitz Judo Club to learn a sport which provides holistic teaching for the harmony of mind and body as well as representing a form of self-defence.

The JUFA Leibnitz Sport Resort features state-of-the-art design as well as providing a full equipment hire service. This enables it to offer a number of new and minority sports.

These include floor ball, a new team game which requires speed and skill. There is also a 44-metre long sprint and archery room to train speed and accuracy.

There is, of course, plenty of scope to pursue more well-established sports such as volleyball, basketball, badminton or gymnastics.

The provision on offer also extends to include a gym and a health spa and regeneration area.

The centre knows that many people like to undertake stamina training in a group and will be happy to draw up tailored training plans and daily programmes on request.

A summer leisure centre with an outdoor pool and water park is located directly adjacent to the JUFA Sportcampus. Further highlights include beach volleyball courts, basketball courts, football pitches, a 400 metre running track, full track and field facilities including shot put and high jump and much more besides.

In addition to this, there is one further outdoor adventure world waiting to be conquered: nature itself!

Hiking tours, cycling tours on 33 kilometres of mountain bike routes and extended walks will all benefit your sense of well being by taking you through mountain pastures, avenues, small towns and villages and forests and past streams, gardens and flowering meadows.

Individual personalised routes through the Nature Conservation Area covering the Southern Styria wine growing region and through the surrounding villages are available from the Leibnitz Walking Centre.

All 186 kilometres of the marked tracks can be individually combined to suit any level of walker from beginners to dedicated joggers, power walkers or marathon runners.

Those who prefer exploring the beauty of the region on horseback are sure to find a mount to suit them at the Equestrian Centre located only 700 metres away.
